Adult Glass Fusion . . .

Glass Fusing - Super Relaxing, Easy and Fun
Glass fusing is a new and fun activity, that is unbelievably easy, yet yields beautiful results that look like they came right out of an art gallery. In our glass fusing center you can create functional pieces like bowls, plates, and candle holders. With some simple instruction you can be on your way to making fused glass.

You can easily turn bits and strips of specialty glass into twinkling kiln-fired treasures! Nothing beats the sparkle of glass. We will show you how to create glass artwork from sun catchers to vases to eye-popping picture frames! This art form is positively UNIQUE. The results are dazzling, and the fun is addictive!

The price for the project is determined by the size of the glass base, the finish and the shape you choose. The projects are baked flat as standard, and if you'd like the finished project shaped into a tray or bowl or similar there is a $8 shaping charge because the project has to be baked twice.

The glass projects can be finished in two ways, they can be textured meaning the individual pieces are melted onto the base, but not into it. This is the standard, and there is no extra charge. The projects can also be made smooth, but this requires that there are two full layers of glass everywhere to avoid distortion, and it will be baked at a special, high temperature to fully melt it. There is a $8 charge for smooth finish.

6" square clear base......$35
8" square clear base......$50
10" square clear base....$70

We have other options at an additional cost to make your piece extra special

Smooth fusing (requires two full layers of glass and a special high temperature)..........+$6

Round base....................+$5
White/black base............+$4
Other colours base..........+$6
Bowl Shaping...................+$8

Advanced projects such as projects without a base are charged based on size as if they had a base, and there will be a handling charge on a case by case base.

You can use freely of the design glass up to the same area as your base project This means that you can fill up your base project one layer deep and add limited accents on top of that.

Here's how it works:

Select It
Select a Glass Base from the large available variety, bases vary in size, shape, color and price.

Design It
Create your own unique design by layering the glass pieces available (frit, rods, noodles, pebbles, etc..) Ideas will available on our facebook page or in studio.

Cut It
You can also cut shapes and pieces. This process is only available to ages 12+ and gloves and glasses must be worn and instructions will be provided in studio and must be followed. It's simple, just score it and break using our special tools. It's just like breaking frozen chocolate.

Glue It
Use a tiny amount of glue to affix your design to your glass base, using a toothpick.

Shape It
Talk to a staff member about our selection of possible shapes for your piece. Shaping is an additional $8 as we will need to bake your piece an extra time.

Describe It
Draw a picture on your claim sheet of the piece you created so we can match it as your piece for pick up.

Bake It
We'll do this for you, and notify you when the artwork is ready for pickup.
